Best indoor activities to do in Nashville

So are you thinking about moving to Nashville Tennessee but want to make sure there are plenty of indoor activities for the hot Summers or cold winters? So we are going to go over some of the best indoor activities to do in Nashville.

  1. Indoor climbing gyms. This is something that has become real popular over the past few years and Nashville has quite a few of them.  There is Climb Nashville as well as West and East Nashville, they also have a location in Murfreesboro but there is also another good gym called The Crag in Nashville as well as a couple of locations in Franklin.  For those that aren’t aware indoor rock climbing is a sport that is great for kids or adults and is a fantastic workout that builds strength and endurance but more than anything it is a fun sport that most anything can do.

  2. Tee Line Curling.  Now up until a few years ago I thought curling was a workout 22” biceps! But then I saw the winter olympics a few years ago and I noticed this funny looking sport that I’ve never seen before and it was called curling. Everyone I knew always said it was a weird sport to be in the winter olympics but still looked fun to play!! The only problem is that no one ever knew where you could do it unless you live up north with frozen over lakes and ponds.  In comes Tee Line right around the corner from The Nations in Nashville.  This place is fantastic, they not only have a fun new game to play but they serve great burgers, pizzas and cocktails to enjoy as well as bowling and many tvs to watch your favorite ball game while you have fun!!

  3. K-1 Indoor Go-Karting!  Now unless you’ve been living under a rock the past 30 years you would know that Go-Karting is the most fun thing to do for kids and adults in the summertime. But what K-1 has done is create that fun activities a year round experience by have 100% all electric Karts that can go up to 45 mph so hang on to your butts!!  They even go as far as having racing leagues for all ages and group events.

  4. Axe Throwing….now this was once something only outdoorsman in the North used to do has truly become a fun activity for all even for large groups. Bad Axe Throwing in particular in the SoBro neighborhood is become THE PLACE to go throw some axes and drink some beer and have more fun than you can handle.

  5. Bowling   Ok I know what your thinking BOWLING… are we inviting grandpa and mimi?? Trust me,  just like mullets and mario brothers Bowling is coming back with a vengeance! And one of the places thats causing it in the Nashville area is Brooklyn Bowl. And I tell you what this place is INCREDIBLE and not just a Bowling Alley, it has a full service restaurant by New York City’s Blue Ribbon and has a fantastic music venue that was actually voted best new concert venue in 2022!

  6. Trivia.   So if your not from here you need to know that Trivia Nights are as big as fantasy football believe it or not!!  Most sports bars in the area do trivia night 1 or 2 nights a week and if you’ve never done it itis not only alot of fun but a great way to meet new people. The most popular trivia night spots is M.L Rose in Sylvan Park, Bottle Cap in 12 South, as well as Von Elrods in Germantown.

  7. Arcades.  Now one of the best things about being my age is that some of my favorite past times have become great adult activities just like going to the arcades! And this isn’t the same old arcade games. Nashville has a few arcade bars that are fantastic. Up-Down Nashville, 16 Bit Bar and Arcade and Game Terminal are the 3 more famous ones in Nashville.  But we aren’t just talking about your random arcades and skeeball, which they do have that as well. But they have new arcade games, vintage arcade and pinball games and even oldschool Nintendo games like Mario, Pacman and more!!

  8. Karaoke Bars.   Now surprise surprise, The Music City has a plethora of great Karaoke bars!  And a city like Nashvile you will sometime see or rather hear some incredible talent.  The top places I would recommend would be The Lipstick Lounge, Ms. Kellis and most definitely check out WannaB’s.

  9. Top Golf   A favorite outing for many Nashvilians would be Top Golf.  This is no mear driving range either, there are over 100 temperature controls hitting booths where you can play by yourself, on a date or in group outings. And they also serve adult beverages and great food.
