7 reasons everyone is moving to Clarksville, TN/ October 2022

  1. Growth.  5th largest city in the state 14th fasting growing cities in the nation, and 3rd fastest growing in the state behind Murfreesboro and Music City itself! Also with the F&M stadium coming to Clarksville which have partnered with Nashville Predators, they expect growth to increase even more. This stadium will be leased to APSU but not owned by them.  It will be hosting ice skating, basketball games, concerts and more.  But if your looking to move somewhere that is slower pace than there are some great towns surrounding Clarksville like Woodlawn, Adams Palmyra or even up in Kentucky you have great towns like Hopkinsville

  1. College town…..Everyone thinks of Clarksville as a military town but they forget that one of the best universities in the state is right here. Austin Peay State University is one of the top universities in middle Tennessee .Guvnas!! Lol  If your the next lebron you probably won’t be playing here but the graduation rate for the student athletes is great.

  1. Lower cost of housing. Many homes on market…cost of homes now compared to last year. Average price now is 330k where this time last year it was 282k.

  1. Weather 4 seasons, mild  temp low is mid 20s in the winter….very few snows…2 inches is the worst you will get.  However…..the biggest problem we have the the ice and especially black ice.  and mid 90s in the summer  hight humitity of up to 80%. But 4 months out of the year it is pretty mild weather between 70-85 degrees.

  1. Fitness….Clarksville Athletic Club, Planet Fitness,  as well as many crossfit gyms. And if your looking to get into the more combat related activity Clarksville has many facilities to choose from. American Pride boxing, Title Boxing as well as multiple MMA and  jiu jitsu and other martial arts schools.

  2. Jobs Military, APSU, Clarksville Montgomery County School system, tennova Hospital, as well as many factories like Hankook Tires, TRANE, LG Electronics(washing machines and dryers), you have many opportunities for jobs that doesn’t involve you having to travel to Nashville and deal with that traffic!!

  1. Things to do….Clarksville has many bars, nightclubs and restaurants to enjoy a night out on the town but one of the best things about Clarksville is that it was founded alongside the cumberland river there are an incredible amount of outside activities. Greenway, Multiple golf courses and even disc golf courses, shooting complexes, rock climbing and we can’t forget about Flip’n Axe! I mean who doesn’t love throwing axes and drinking beer!?

As you can see, Clarksville isn’t just a town with low housing cost. There are more opportunities. And more things to do than most people expect. If you are looking to buy a home or would like to see what your options are please reach out anytime.
